My name is Akhtar Abbas, and I am reaching out to you with a heart full of hope and a story of resilience. For years, I have been battling a challenging condition known as Muscular Dystrophy. This progressive disease gradually weakens the muscles, making even the simplest daily tasks an uphill struggle.
I am a father to five beautiful children and a devoted husband. They are my world, my strength, and the reason I fight every single day. However, living with a physical disability in a world that moves so fast is not easy. As my condition progresses, my ability to earn a living and provide for my family’s basic needs food, education, and household expenses has been severely impacted. Currently, I have no steady source of income, and the weight of providing for seven people while managing a disability is becoming an impossible burden to carry alone.
Beyond our daily survival, I am seeking help to regain some of my independence. There are specialized assistive gadgets and mobility aids designed for Muscular Dystrophy patients that could significantly improve my quality of life. These tools would not only help me manage my physical pain but would allow me to be more present and active for my children.
