My name is Ghulam Raza, and I am a teacher at Government Primary School Mitha Khan, a village school in Sindh, Pakistan.
One of my students, Bilal, comes from an extremely poor family. His father works as a daily-wage labourer, struggling every day to earn enough money to support his family. Even meeting their basic needs is a major challenge.
Bilal also has a disability that prevents him from seeing with one eye. Despite these difficulties, he is a child with a future worth protecting and dreams worth supporting.
As his teacher, it hurts to see children who want to study but lack the basic necessities that make learning possible. Bilal needs support with food, clothing, shoes, school supplies, and other essential needs.
I am sharing his story because I believe poverty should never decide a child's future. I want to help Bilal continue his education, live with dignity, and have a fair chance at a better life.
I kindly ask compassionate people around the world to stand with Bilal and his family. Your support, no matter how small, could bring hope into their lives and help a young boy move towards a brighter future.
Sometimes, a small act of kindness can change a child's life forever.
