Help Me Overcome Financial Hardship and Rebuild My Illustration Business
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my story.
My name is Sabia Khatri, and I am a children's book illustrator from Pakistan. For more than six years, I have worked on children's storybooks, character designs, activity books, and book covers. I have also collaborated remotely with a client in the United States, and illustration is the skill I rely on to support my family.
Unfortunately, I am currently going through a difficult financial period. My freelance work has become irregular, and despite actively searching for new clients and opportunities, I have struggled to earn enough to cover my family's essential household expenses and outstanding debts.
I am doing my best to get back on my feet. I do not want to give up the profession I have spent years building. I want to rebuild my illustration business, connect with more international clients, and create a stable income through my own hard work.
My goal is to raise PKR 300,000 in support: approximately PKR 200,000 or more toward urgent household expenses and financial obligations, and PKR 100,000 to help rebuild my illustration business. Business support would be used for essential work resources, improving my portfolio and marketing, and reaching potential clients. I will prioritize urgent family needs and use any funds responsibly for their stated purposes.
