Short Term Support for Education and Family Stability

Assalam O Alaikum I'm Huda Batool Abidi, I previously lived with my father in a joint family system. Although my parents are still married my father does not live with us and does not provide consistent financial support. After we moved out of the family house due to serious living difficulties, only my mother, my younger brother, and I shifted to a rented home. For the first three months after moving out, my father provided no financial support at all, and we survived independently.

For the past four months, he has been giving a limited amount of financial help, approximately PKR 50,000 per month, which is insufficient to cover rent, utilities, education, and basic living expenses for our household. This support is only provided when we personally approach him, and it does not meet our essential needs.

My mother is over 60 years old and works as a school teacher. Her salary is PKR 40,000 per month, which is our primary and most stable income. To manage rent and daily expenses after moving out, she had to take loans from multiple people using her personal contacts. We are now under pressure to repay these loans.

Both my younger brother and I are university students. My brother is 17 years old and has been actively trying to find work, but due to his age and our household responsibilities, this has been extremely difficult. Alongside our studies, we are managing household duties and caring for our mother, which has limited our ability to take on additional work during this period.

We belong to a Syed family and therefore do not accept zakat or sadaqah. This fundraiser is strictly for general support and donations only. The financial difficulty we are facing is temporary. I am actively working toward building my career so I can become financially independent and support my family. After completing my degree, I also plan to pursue further studies abroad, which requires long-term financial planning.

The requested amount of PKR 500,000 is intended solely to repay existing loans and relieve immediate financial stress on my mother. I am willing to provide verification for all claims, including salary receipts, rental details, and family circumstances. Anyone wishing to verify
