My name is Amna and I am a graduate of NUST in Chemical Engineering. I have recently been offered admission to the University of Glasgow for my master’s degree which honestly feels like a dream come true for me.
This opportunity means a lot because it is not just about studying abroad it is about building a better future for myself and eventually using what I learn to give something back to my field and to Pakistan.
Right now I am stuck at the first step. The university requires a £5000 initial deposit to confirm my admission. I have managed to save £2000 myself through personal effort but I am still short. My father is retired and financially it is not possible for my family to arrange the remaining amount.
That is why I am reaching out for help. It is not easy for me to ask but I do not want to lose this chance because of money. Even a small contribution would make a real difference for me right now and bring me closer to starting my studies.
I am fully committed to working hard once I get there and making the most of this opportunity. One day I hope I will be in a position where I can help others the same way.
Thank you so much for reading this and for any support you can give.
