My name is Adnan, and I am reaching out during one of the most painful and uncertain chapters of my life. For the past three and a half years, I have been unemployed despite ongoing efforts to secure stable work. During this time, life has continued relentlessly—rent, food, utilities, medical needs, and family responsibilities did not stop simply because income did. Slowly, and then all at once, the financial pressure became unbearable.

As months passed, my savings disappeared entirely. In order to survive and protect my family from immediate hardship, I was forced to sell off every asset I owned. Items that once represented years of effort, stability, and hope were sacrificed just to cover basic necessities. These decisions were heartbreaking, but they were made out of love and responsibility—not comfort.

Today, I stand at a point where I have exhausted every personal option available to me. Despite my determination to remain self-reliant, I now depend on the compassion of others to help us through this crisis. The stress of not knowing how the next bill will be paid or how basic needs will be met weighs heavily on me every single day.
