My name is Abdul Rehman, and I am raising funds for a severely affected village located in Taluka Diplo, District Tharparkar, Sindh, Pakistan.
Our village is facing a critical shortage of clean and safe drinking water. In Tharparkar, most water sources are saline and unsafe for both human consumption and livestock. However, in our specific area, there are limited sources of relatively fresh water, but they are not sufficient to meet the needs of the entire community.
During the summer season, temperatures in our region regularly reach 48°C to 50°C, making access to clean water a life-threatening necessity. People, animals, and families are suffering due to dehydration and lack of proper water facilities.
There is no proper electricity or grid connection available in our village, which is why traditional water systems are not possible. In these conditions, solar-powered water pumps and storage systems are the only sustainable solution for us.
We are requesting financial support to install:
A solar water pump system
Water storage tank (tanki system)
Bore water completion and necessary setup
Basic water distribution system for households and livestock
This project will help provide clean drinking water to an entire community and will also support animals, which are essential for local livelihoods.
