Campaign title: Flood Relief for Pakistan — Emergency Response

Rising waters have destroyed homes, food supplies, and livelihoods — we’re raising emergency funds to provide immediate shelter, clean water, food, and medical supplies to families hit by the floods across Pakistan.

Our story

When the floods hit, whole communities were swept away in a matter of hours. Families lost houses, belongings, seeds for the next harvest, and — worst of all — certainty. I started this campaign because I could not stand by while neighbours and strangers suffered. This is a grassroots effort to get fast, practical help to people who need it now: dry shelter, safe drinking water, hot meals, emergency medicines, and blankets for children and the elderly.

We are local people helping local people. Every donation goes directly where it’s needed and we’ll share regular updates and receipts so you can see the impact of your gift.

Goal & how funds will be used

Fundraising target: PKR [10000).

Funds will be used for:

Emergency shelter (tents, plastic sheeting, repair materials) — ~35%

Food and clean water (ration packs, water purification) — ~30%

Medical aid and hygiene kits (first aid, medicines, sanitary supplies) — ~20%

Logistics and transport (fuel, local distribution) — ~10%

Administration & transparency (documentation, receipts, updates) — ~5%

Even a small donation buys essentials: PKR 2,000 can provide food for a family for several days; PKR 5,000 can supply a hygiene kit, water purification, or blankets.

How we work / accountability

We partner with trusted local volunteers and community centres to purchase locally (supports the local economy and speeds delivery).

All major purchases will be photographed and logged. We’ll post periodic updates (photos, short reports, expense summaries) to the campaign page so donors can track progress.

For transparency, major disbursements will be accompanied by receipts and beneficiary lists (anonymized where needed).
