From Kashmore to the Stars: Help Me Reach UCAS, China

Assalamu Alaikum,

My name is Habib U Rahman, and I come from the remote  area of Tangwani Taluka, District Kashmore, Sindh, Pakistan.

I belong to a humble joint family where education has always been our greatest hope for a better future. My father, despite having very limited resources, made extraordinary sacrifices to educate his children. Over the years, he sold much of our family's agricultural land so that we could continue our studies and pursue our dreams.

Today, those resources are exhausted. Our family has no remaining agricultural income, and financial difficulties have become overwhelming. Yet, despite these challenges, my parents never allowed us to abandon education.

By the grace of Allah and through years of hard work, I completed my BS (Honours) in Physics from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Along the way, I completed international courses in astronomy, astrophysics, and space science and continued striving for opportunities that once seemed impossible for a student from my village.

Alhamdulillah, I have now been nominated for a Master's opportunity at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), China, in the field of Astronomical Techniques and Approaches. This is a life-changing opportunity that can help me build a career in science, research, and education.

The scholarship is expected to cover my studies after enrollment. However, I still need support for the initial expenses required to reach China, including:

• Student visa processing

• Medical examination and documentation

• Airfare to China

• Initial settlement expenses before scholarship payments begin

This journey is not only about me. My sister has already graduated in Zoology from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. My brother recently started his university education in Information Technology, and my younger siblings are continuing their studies. Our family's greatest dream is that every child receives an education without the burden of sacrificing their future.
