Our Vision

Across Pakistan, women possess valuable skills in stitching, embroidery, handicrafts, home-based production and other forms of local craftsmanship. Yet many talented women face challenges accessing customers, developing products, building a brand and earning a sustainable income from their skills.

HUNAR Pakistan aims to help bridge this gap.

Our vision is to build a national initiative that connects women's skills and locally made Pakistani products with customers, businesses, tourism destinations and wider markets.

We believe that local talent deserves the opportunity to grow into sustainable livelihoods.

Where We Are Today

HUNAR Pakistan has already begun taking its first steps. Approximately 50 women have expressed interest in becoming part of this initiative. They represent different age groups, from matric-level students to women around 30 years old.

This early interest has encouraged us to take the next step: developing a practical pilot that can help us understand what products women can produce, what customers want to buy and what support is needed to turn these skills into viable economic opportunities.

We are at an early stage, and we want to build this initiative responsibly, with realistic goals and measurable progress.

Why We Need Your Support

To move from community interest to practical implementation, we need support for the essential building blocks of the pilot.

Funds raised through this campaign would be allocated to eligible, verified pilot expenses such as:

• Product development and sample creation
• Basic raw materials and production supplies
• Skills development and practical training
• Product quality improvement and packaging
• Branding, photography and digital promotion
• Market research and customer validation
• Connecting participating women with potential buyers
• Pilot coordination and progress measurement

The final allocation will depend on the amount raised and the verified costs of the pilot. We aim to maintain transparent records of how the funds are used and share progress updates with our supporters.

We want HUNAR Pakistan to grow beyond a single location.

Our long-term vision is to connect local producers and women-led home-based businesses across Pakistan, helping locally made products reach customers through retail, online sales, tourism, hospitality and corporate partnerships.

Over time, we hope this model can help more women explore entrepreneurship, strengthen local production and contribute to household livelihoods.

These are our ambitions, and we understand that they will require careful planning, market validation, committed partnerships and sustained effort.
